I mean, come on!  I don't know why affiliate links have to be so ridiculously long and ugly like that-I'm not a programmer.  If these type of links didn't reduce your click through rates and cost you money in terms of lost sales-they would be funny!  But this isn't a laughing matter.

As affiliate marketers you spend a lot of time and money developing your websites, running your promotional campaigns, writing articles, working on SEO, paying for mini-site designs, graphics, and more.  You know what I'm talking about.  Yet, when it comes to the all important call to action--the "click this link" part--most affiliate marketers drop the ball.
